Whilst the likes of Sandie Shaw Cilla Black and Dusty Springfield, were all having great success in the U.K. charts, dozens of other British girls solo singers were holding their own when it came to making outstanding music, never even getting a lookin chart-wise these ladies kept plugging away, hoping for the break that never came, when you listen to some of these great tracks, it's so hard to wonder why they missed out on the big time.
